Great post! Going by a will plus by apportionment maps in Devon I was able to map out my ancestors property!
ReplyDeleteThere was one line that hit me that he wrote for one daughter and not the others - "...I give unto my daughter Elizabeth Mills the sum of fifty pounds, and my will is that the said Elizabeth Mills shall have this sum for her own use and benefit and at her own disposal notwithstanding whatever law there may be to the contrary..." What does that tell you, eh?
